Junior Behavior analyst
Joshua O’Kain, M.Ed., BCBA has been working with children since 2003. He currently holds a M.A. in Management and a M.Ed. in Special Education: Applied Behavior Analysis. Josh began his career a music educator, then became a Special Education teacher for teens and adults with autism that had significant needs. A few years into his Special Ed tenure, he discovered Applied Behavior Analysis and then pursued his board certification. Josh has experiences in behavior-analytic programming/ interventions across multiple settings including clinic-based, school-based, and home-based services with children and young adults with a wide range of needs. He enjoys working with populations that utilize augmentative and alternative communication, as well as interventions for children with more significant learning challenges. Joshua hopes to return to school soon to obtain his Ph.D. or Psy.D. so that he can assist with early interventions and diagnosis. He also aspires to work with the public schools to bring Applied Behavior Analysis to the forefront of education of all children.
